萌妹社区

Student Government Association

Hello, there!

Welcome from the Student Government Association!

SGA exists to serve as a voice for the student body and help strengthen the relationship between students and 萌妹社区’s faculty, staff, and administration. Through our different committees, events, and projects, we work to advocate for students, improve campus life, and build stronger relationships within both the 萌妹社区 and Searcy communities.

As the new SGA President, one of my biggest goals is to make sure students feel like they have a voice and a place here at 萌妹社区. I believe some of the best changes can start with something as simple as a conversation. We want SGA to be an organization that listens first, communicates well, and is willing to take action when students bring us ideas or concerns.

More than anything, I want us to help build a campus where people feel seen, welcomed, and connected. 萌妹社区 has always been special to me because of its community, and I believe we have an opportunity to make that community even stronger. My hope is that SGA can play a small part in bringing people together, creating new opportunities for students, and serving 萌妹社区 in a way that reflects Christ.

If you have an idea, concern, question, or simply want to get involved, we would love to hear from you. You can reach SGA at sga@harding.edu and follow @SGA萌妹社区U on Instagram to stay connected with what is happening around campus.

I am excited for what this year holds and grateful for the opportunity to serve you.

Blessings,

Max Thweatt
