Aaron is a Michigan native who graduated with his BA in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Youth Ministry from ACU. He completed his Masters in Interpersonal Communication with certificates in Conflict Management focusing on Church and Family Mediation at ACU. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Liberty University in Strategic Media.
Aaron's career has gone from working as a weather reporter and television sports anchor for KTXS in Abilene, Texas to a producer in Dallas/Fort Worth for Gameday Productions that produced shows for KDFW, KXAS and KTVT and a broadcast/features producer for the Detroit Pistons and the Pistons Television Network.
Aaron has been an adjunct professor, since 2007, teaching numerous courses including sports, public relations, business communications, conflict management and persuasion, among others. He loves sports and has presented research at the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Christian rhetoric in the movie, "Field of Dreams"; the history and impact of 1970’s MLB jerseys and the psychology behind an athlete's "walk-up" song. He has recently been published in the NINE: Journal of Baseball History and Culture. He has also been a public address announcer for multiple sports at a number of NCAA universities and fill-in for several professional organizations. He also did voice-over work for the Detroit Shock (WNBA), Detroit Fury (AFL) and Detroit Pistons Radio Network (WWJ/WDFN).
Aaron is a member of the National Communication Association. He is married to Sara and has a loyal English cream retriever named Toby.
Dan Streety started his career over 30 years ago in advertising and marketing. During that time, he produced work for leading brands including Crest, Pantene, Iams, Swiffer, Starbucks, Pepsi, Frito Lay, Hallmark, Power Bar, Walmart, BMW and others. He’s produced work in five countries, worked in London and Toronto and sat on two different executive global leadership teams. He received his MFA in visual narrative from the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York where he produced a short film documentary on the decline of rural communities. As a former chair of a communication department, he restructured the program to make it more contemporary and relevant to the current job market.
