Benefits of an Online Community

Online communities are great supplements to in-person communities. You can use the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Exchange to take advantage of your ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø member benefits, participate in important conversations about new developments in the field, and create connections with colleagues from around the world.

All ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø members are encouraged to join the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Exchange today.

Inside the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Exchange, you’ll be able to:

  • Participate in ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Caucuses, PACs, and other special interest groups
  • Create new connections and connect with colleagues you’ve met at previous conferences and events
  • Ask questions of the experts
  • Brainstorm with peers
  • And much more...

The ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Exchange is one of your member benefits and a space we created in response to ongoing member requests for access to other members outside of the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Annual Meeting and the Strategic Enrollment Management Conference. We hope you’ll log in, explore the space, ask questions, interact with colleagues, and drop us a message telling us what you like and what would make the community even better for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are Interest Groups?

Interest Groups are communities on the open to any member. They serve as a space for members to connect with others who share professional interests and experiences, ask and share advice, and develop a more holistic view of the particular institution type or emerging topic in higher education. Members also have the opportunity to create and grow relationships with peers in the field and grow their professional network.

  • Google Groups/Listservs Transitioned to ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Exchange in December 2023

ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø transitioned from Google Groups to a new platform - the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Exchange. This platform provides a similar experience to our listservs plus additional functionality (file storage, links to needed resources, a member search, search by tags, etc).

Google Group subscriptions were integrated into the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Exchange. Once logged in, navigate to Communities > My Communities in the navigation bar to access them. You can receive notifications of discussions in real-time or daily or weekly digests. Updating your “Discussion" notification settings to "real time" allows you to respond to conversations directly from your email.

  • I'm not an ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Member. How do I access the ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Exchange?

If your institution is a member, you can join the roster at no cost. Check your membership status online, then contact ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Membership at to determine your options for becoming a member today.

Join ÃÈÃÃÉçÇø Communities of Practice (CoPs)
A Community of Practice (CoP) is a space where members and industry experts come together to address challenges facing the field. It is not a Learning Community - a forum for discussion - but rather has structure and intentionality built in to further the work. Join a CoP to help move the field forward.
